Beautiful Easter

156

We had a beautiful Easter this year. Amazing church service, great weather, the whole family together at our house...could not ask for much more. Here are some pics from our Easter...

I had to wake the girls up so we would have time to do all of the "Easter festivities" AND make it to church by 9!

Ella LOVES "boy things"...this includes Spiderman and Batman-so the Easter bunny left her a Batman shirt in her basket...Mommy quickly had to make guidelines for when this shirt could be worn!

Abbie got a late start to the festivities-she decided to wake up about an hour after the girls...

She was quite intrigued by her slinky...look at her serious face!

Ella spotted this purple egg in the tree...notice how high it is-Sophie so sweetly told Ella she would get it for her...she tried for about 10 seconds and then realized there was no way she was getting that egg and gave up...

AND then there is Ella...she shimmied her way up the tree in like 3 seconds and grabbed the egg-she seriously is sooo strong!!!

Easter...part one!!!

I realized I had to break up my Easter post otherwise I would have about 50 pics in one post...a bit much! So here are some pics of the festivities leading up to Easter....the making of our Easter Bunny house and coloring eggs on Easter Eve...

Ella lined up all of our baskets so the Easter Bunny would have a choice of which ones he wanted to fill-it was very cute!

Right before bedtime...the girls put their Easter Bunny house on the table for the Easter Bunny along with about 50 baby carrots! :)

Pregnancy...

006

Wow I'm waiting for somebody to nominate me for Worlds Worst Blogger...it's been over 2 weeks since my last post! I've had the best intentions but for some reason never followed through...

Anyway...I thought I would do a post about my pregnancy...I am now 25 weeks...Yay! This pregnancy has definitely been more a little harder than the rest. Now when I say that I am not at ALL complaining...nor am I trying to compare to others who truly have difficult pregnancies...I am only comparing to my other 2 pregnancies...I have been MUCH more tired and drained of energy with this one. I know it has to do with the fact that I am older and the fact that I have three little ones at home 4 and under and work full time-but I tell you I just can't shake it! I also have gained more weight (more quickly) with this pregnancy-not so happy about that-but what are you going to do?? I do worry a little though b/c it's slowly approaching ice cream season here in NY and a little shop in our village has the best peanut butter cup sundaes-I don't think they are the thing to eat if you are trying to not pudge up!

I love to hear the girls talk about their baby brother...it's so cute! Ella will often look at my belly and say, "Wow mommy you're belly is getting fatter!" I know it's out of love so I can smile! They are so excited and will often ask if it's time for the baby to come out of my belly yet...poor Abbie has no idea how her little life is going to change in 3 1/2 months-but I know she will be fine-she's such a go with the flow little girl!

We continue to struggle with the name! I tell you boy names are MUCH harder than girl names! Hopefully we will decide soon since there are a couple monogrammed items I would like to order off of Etsy.

I must say that I continue to thank God everyday for this baby! There are times I find myself doubting if I will be able to take care of 4 children (age 4 and under) while working full time but then I remember that God will not give me anything I cannot handle! I continue to pray that He will work a financial miracle in our lives so that I would be able to spend more time at home with my babies-but I know if it doesn't happen that I must still praise God for ALL things!
