Baby Dedication

Baby Dedication
We had the girls dedicated last week in front of our congregation. We hope one day the girls will make the decision on their own to accept Christ into their lives...until that day Greg and I will do all that we can to provide a home in which the Lord shines in all we do!

Cousins...

Our little darlings...

Kristin, my little sister, and her beautiful baby Makenzie payed us a visit a couple weeks back...we were so lucky b/c she got to stay the whole week! We are trying to persuade her to move up here and I think it may have worked!!! Yay!!! I would love for Abbie and Makenzie to have the chance to grow up together and be best of friends! And I would love to have KeeKee in the same place as me!!! Here are some "cute cousins" pics!

One of my favorite pictures...Abbie woke up at 5:30 and would not go back to sleep...so we decided to go for a walk on the beach to watch the sunrise...it was amazing...I stopped and took this picture of us and can you believe it?? Abbie was looking at the camera and smiling!! Oh this picture melts my heart! It will be a walk I will always treasure!

Can you count how many chins Sophie has on the photo below?? :) LOVE the shot of Ella!

Oh the joy...

I was not going to post at all while we are on vacation but I had to share this story...

Thanks to tropical storm Faye we are not able to go the beach so we are kind of stuck in our villa for a little while...it's not a big place so it has the potential to create an environment in which we are a little snappy with one another...anyway sometime in the afternoon Ella comes up to me and says, "mom look!" as she points to her fingers...hmmm I'm thinking, that's funny I did not give her any M&M's asI notice the chocolate on her fingers...well with further inspection I see (and smell) that it is poop-OH MY GOSH! I rush her to the bathroom to find the biggest poop I have ever seen in her undies-she obviously had to have PUSHED this one out with all of her might...annoyed I pull her pants down and it falls on the floor-great-I have to pick this huge poop off the floor...I then proceed to bathe her poop covered body...she has it down her leg, on her feet, under her fingernails and ofcourse all over her little fanny!

Then fast forward several hours later...I dress the girls b/c we are going to attempt to brave the rain and wind and go get something to eat...I put Sophie's pants on and realize I left her mermaid undies on rather than putting on a pullup...I yell to Greg, "Greg should I put a pull up on??", we both decided no b/c she has been SOO good lately....As we are sitting in Applebees Sophie announces she has to go the bathroom-at this point I am trying to feed Abigail who is being just so impossible at the moment-which is so not like our little Abbie!- so Greg and I decide to switch and he will continue to feed Abigail and I will take Sophie to the bathroom...all of a sudden Sophie begins to pee while standing in the booth...she peed and she peed and it was going everywhere-it starts to turn into a small stream that flows into my bag at the end of the booth....I swear I have never seen so much pee in my life....after she is done peeing a river I swoop her up and take her outside to give her a "wipe" bath and try to scrap up some bottoms. LUckilyI had shopped at Target several days earlier and found a pair of brown leggings that looked surprisingly very cute with her pink halter...we walk back in and I notice we are in the same booth-strange I think to myself...how did they clean that so soon??? So I hurry Sophie back into the booth when Greg springs on me that they have not cleaned it yet!!!! At this point Sophie has soaked up some of the pee in her new leggings as I scream, "are you kidding???" So I use like 30 wipes to try and clean our table-as I was cleaning I somehow punctured Sophie's back with my engagement ring and she starts screaming -very LOUDLY!!!! After we have left the restaurant we realized we have forgotten Abbie's bottle on the table-we make a U-turn to go and retrieve the bottle-Greg runs in and gets the bottle and comes out and shares that the table had not even been cleaned yet (it had been 5-7 minutes at this point-clearly the table should have cleaned by this time)-I told Greg I am sure the staff was out back picking straws to decide who had to go clean the urine soaked table-Greg thought that they would probably just torch the whole booth when they closed for the night.... After our dinner we head back home where Abbie pees through her diaper and outfit onto me as I was holding her....Oh the joy!

HIlton Head!!!

We are off to Hilton Head Island...so excited!! We are going for 2 weeks this time and I'm hoping for some relaxation...of course I don't think a mommy of 2 2-year olds and a newborn can relax but I will certainly try! I won't be able to post pics when I am away but will post lots when I get back!

Say a little prayer that these three little darlings will behave on our trip down to HH!!!!
