Getting closer...

Well in less than two weeks (hopefully) we will be welcoming little Abigail Grace to the world...we are very excited but mommy is very nervous. There are times I feel I can't even handle the two I have right now!! :) But I know God will give me the strength to be a mother of 3! I think the girls have some understanding of what will be happening-well as much as two year olds can. If my belly is showing the girls will always come and kiss it. Ella will also scratch my belly which feels so good!!! She's so darn cute. Here are a couple of cute pics from this weekend!

My little Ella...

Having a biological child and then an adopted child it's sometimes hard not to compare how different the experience can be...not better or worse but different. One of the biggest differences I find is when they call me Mommy. Now don't get me wrong I love it when my dear little Sophie calls me mommy...but there is something about when Ella says that word that gives me the chills and makes me tear up...I think to myself for two years this little angel had no concept of a mommy or daddy-not that she did not have nannies that loved her dearly-but nannies cannot take place of a mommy. And now six months later she will wrap her little arms around my neck and say, "lub u Mommy!" without thinking twice! My dear little Ella is such an angel and words cannot explain how blessed I am to have her as my daughter! And it goes without saying that I am blessed to have my little Sophie as well!!!

Finally...

Finally I have the chance to update my blog!!! I tried once last week and of course blogger was down...Well we are back from our vacation and we had a great time! The girls loved the ocean and it was a blast to watch them together as they ran in and out of the ocean about a million times! We did have a couple cool days but that did matter to the girls...they loved it all the same! We hope to go back to Hilton Head at the end of August for 2 weeks...of course by then little Abigail will have joined us!

Checking out a jellyfish

We also had an amazing time visiting with Lily and her mother, Heather! Lily and Ella were in the same orphanage for a little less than 2 years. Lily is the cutest little thing and I loved to see the girls together-it was such an amazing time! We went to the Atlanta aquarium and all the girls really enjoyed it! And I owe Heather a huge thank you for helping with my girls!! They are a handful and mommy struggles!! We are so blessed to have had the opportunity to meet Lily and her mother and we hope there are more opportunities to spend time together in the future!!

.............................................................I looked back in the car and caught the girls holding hands!!!

How cute are we???

Thank you, Heather!!!!...................... Sophie sleeping with her new whale that Heather

Off to the Beach...

We are off to the Beach...we are leaving today for Hilton Head and then heading down to Atlanta for several days. We are very excited to see Ella's reaction to the ocean! We are sure the girls will have a great time!

While we are in Atlanta we are hoping to meet up with a family that adopted their little Lily back in May from Ella's same orphanage...they are about 4 months apart and essentially grew up together-we are really looking forward to meeting them!

Ok...back to work!

I'll be sure to post lots of pics when we get back!
