Hilton Head Part 1

i said it once and i'll say it again i am sure

i had such an amazing time on our vacation

i loved hanging on on the beach with my sweet family for hours at end

i loved snuggling up with everyone on the couch at night because there was no where else to be!

i loved that it was just 2 weeks of nothing but quality time with my little family!

 

so here is how we spent our vacation...



 

we headed to the ocean the first full day 

 

and that was short lived after daddy got stung by a

jelly fish right away. 

i was afraid it might scare the girls away from going back in...but after a couple of days sophie and ella decided to go back in (abbie was afraid and asked a bjillion questions about jellyfish.  i was finally able to convince her that there was only 1 jellyfish in the ocean and he died after he stung daddy!) :)

after the jellyfish incident we spent a lot of time at the pool.

Our daily routine usually looked something like this...

breakfast

while daddy was at the gym we would get ready to go the

beach/pool

lunch (or many days we just skipped lunch so that we would have a early dinner)

then some time inside playing indoors/showering and getting ready for dinner

 

our inside play time usually consisted of this..

abbie being a mermaid that washed ashore and in need of medical assistance...lol...so cute!

on sunday night we just went down to the ocean after dinner just to play...

then our first week (Monday) began with a day at the beach and seafood at a restaurant with outdoor seating.

 

the food was yummy but the service was less than desirable.

mind you it wasn't busy at.all!

well this server was just so stressed and scattered that it was stressing me!

we love being down south b/c everyone is usually so friendly and takes their time...

well this server sucked everything southern right out of our meal (well with the exception of the hush puppies). 

thank goodness that was our only bad experience. :)
