happy birthday, abbie grace!

my dear little abbie grace turned 4 on saturday.

i still can't believe it.

what happened to my little baby?

oh no...i feel a trip down memory lane coming...

this is one of my all time favorite pictures.  it was in hilton head in 2008.  abbie was 3 months old and she had woke up so early this morning so i decided to walk to the beach to see the sunrise.  i took this of ourselves and was hoping she would just look at the camera.  i couldn't believe when i checked the camera and saw that she had actually smiled! so precious.

you definitely are a challenge at times but who said being a momma would be easy.
you love to play and are following your sophie's footsteps in being able to play with anything you find
you have a temper like no other but you will also say you are sorry without having to be asked to do so.
i love that about you.
you love to play with your sissies and have become just another playmate to them rather than the pesky little sister.
you love barbies and love playing them with your bff kennie. 
you say "poot" instead of "put" 
you love your little brother and love to go find his blankie when we can't find it.
you get angry at mommy when i don't cover you up just right at night. 
you don't like your quilt.  mommy keeps forgetting.  sorry.
you love to sing.  you make up the funniest little songs that make no sense but i love them!
we call you "pip" because that is exactly what you are. 
you will throw the craziest trantrum because you won't want to wear what mommy puts out for you to wear. 
i have to be honest that i wish you would stop doing this.  i don't like it. 
you have the rest of your life to pick out your clothes.
please just happily put on the pretty clothes mommy picks out for you. please!
you are starting not to like big bows.  this makes me sad.
