spring time part 1

in an effort in trying to catch up with my blog i have decided to put "spring time" all in a couple posts...

so here it goes...

this spring we...

 

got all cute in our new spring clothes

 

played basketball with daddy with our new hoop

 



 

drove a couple hours to visit with gramma and grandpa

 



 

this spring we...

grew up right before momma eyes

 



 

but still held on to our silly side.

 

cheered ella on while she marched up the hill to the softball field

 

spend time with our best friend...
 

began another season of horseback
 

 

continued to be pretty :)
 

 

picked flowers while sophie was riding

Spring vacay 2013

we usually head up north to maine for spring break but this year daddy had to be in pennsylvania for a meeting
so we headed down to Lancaster, pa for a little spring vacay

 

 

we stayed at a really neat hotel that had a little indoor waterpark

 

the littles loved it!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

between all the swimming we went to check out lancaster

so many farms...sophie loved it.
 

 

 

then back for more swimming :)
 

 

 

 

 our spring vacay was a success...fun was had by all! :)



Easter 2013

i know i am like 15 years behind in my blogging

it is so hard to start again once you fall behind

but i am determined to try

i love to look back at my blog and look at the pics and reminisce of all the fun and not so fun times my little family has had.

so i will start with easter. 

then i will try and catch up to the present and then go back and fill in the gaps

we shall see :)

 

after the Christmas fiasco of getting up at 1:30 am to start the festivities i decided to set the alarm on ella's ipod so that the littles knew when to get up

 

it worked!

 

at 6:01 we heard little footsteps pitter patter into our room shouting happy Easter

 

it was cute.

 

our Easter festivities started the day earlier with coloring some eggs

abbie got a new ariel after her mermaid from Christmas strangely disappeared!

i promised them i would take a pic of them with their animals if they would cooperate :)



after church we headed to yammy and papas for a yummy Easter dinner.







however the best part of Easter was being able to celebrate that our savior is alive!
